HOUSTON–Mac Williamson is ready to play in the Giants outfield again. Hunter Pence might be ready, too. And as recently as Saturday, manager Bruce Bochy said he doesn’t know what he’ll do if and when the Giants add both players back to their 25-man roster. Though Pence’s ability to contribute at the plate remains a question mark, Williamson wasted little time proving his bat is a major asset for the Giants lineup. In 19 at-bats with San Francisco this season, Williamson slugged three home runs and became an instant force in the middle of the order. While Pence hit just .172 before a sprained thumb sent him to the disabled list, new swing mechanics have helped him to an impressive offensive stretch
