A GM makes a bonehead trade and then feels he has to compensate by showing he knows something no one else does. So, he reaches. However, I am astonished by how far this guy reached. Calling him clueless is an insult to clueless people everywhere.

Here here.... if that's who you want, trade down and take him, but don't waste a pick on a second round guy. I'd have done a backflip for a CB or EJ Henderson... so they didn't slide like you wanted, but don't reach for the "next best thing"

I can't imagine how this draft could have gone worse, I really can't.

Well I still got hope that they will choose Shaun McDonald later on...I think I might be the only person who wants Shaun on this team, I see a lot of potential out of him. Size don't mean S*it to me, heart and playing ability will.

Can it get worse? Yep, watch us trade away a second rounder next year to move up in round 2 and select Chris Sims.

This team is so frigging frustrating...they honestly do not have a clue.

I swear I hope I don't see one person stick up for Graves ever again. I don't want to to one post that says Graves has a magical plan and wait and see how he does later. Calling Graves dumb and stupid is way to kind and not fair to dumb and stupid people.

Yep. We've been patient long enough. I'd say its time to storm the castle. But the organization is too pathetic to even warrant a decent riot.

Jurecki is on with graves right now... asking candy-coated questions.

Come on Mike. Ask some tough questions, like who is Pace? What was the thought process in getting an injured 3rd round talent player in rd 1???

What is graves thinking?

Talk about a short season, we've become the laughing stock of ESPN radio. I had to travel to Reading PA today so had to listen to our selections over the radio. The announcers were laughing at us before we made our selections wondering why we traded ourselves out of any chance of selecting a starting defensive lineman.

I don't think Bryant Johnson was a reach. I had him rated as the 3rd best WR overall.

Sooooo.... I take it that means you didn't have him ranked higher than Suggs or Leftwich? The Cards basically gave one of them up for this guy and a second round DL player.

There is no bright spot in this draft so far.

I don't see Tang or Krang on the board today. They must of ran for the hills. Anyone who backs this bozo up is either on the payroll or is getting some goodies on the side because this guy has no idea of the focus or direction necessary to even build a mediocre team. I think at this point fans in Zona would take a mediocre team, but I think 5-11 or 4-12 is what we have right now and I don't see Graves doing the fans any favors here.

Oh Oh but he did lure Emmit here---who cares?

Guarantee yo Emmitt is regretting signing with the Cards right about now.

I could agree with that - but maybe from #25 or later - not at #17

I think we all could have lived with the Johnson pick at #17 or #18 had they not followed that pick up with Pace.

The Pace pick stinks and the trade was horrible.

We had a lot of guys predicting various out comes. On of us predicted we would trade down and it would be a good thing. Bet you did not count on this brother! No one on this board as I recall ever mentioned these two guys. Frankly I had never heard of either as I do not follow there conference. What a ******** reach. I do not care what we get now best grade we get is a D. Wonder who the genius is that put this together? A lot of this goes back to our ******** move with David Boston. We are forced to expend a high draft pick because of the way we handled that deal and on top of it all let our other top receivers go. How can any one team be so dumb. When we do draft a good guy he is gone in short order.
