A few years back I had an idea for an online cookbook called "Cookin' for Mama's Boys." Basically it's Cooking for Absolutely ******** Single Men Who Don't Even Know What a Can Opener Is.

Basically, people like moi who left home at 18 without a clue as to what to do in the kitchen. Page 1 was going to be: How to boil water.

ANYWAY, so I caught Brian Regan not long after that and realized how brilliant my idea is; I'm sure the makers of Pop Tarts did lots of demographics to realize their No. 1 target was Absolutely ******** Single Men, and put directions on the side thusly. Regan narrates, some fans reenact:

That was good. It's been years since I ate poptarts but when I did I never put them in the toaster, either ate them cold or microwaved them.

Youve never slathered them with sweet cream butter after pulling them from the toaster, watching the milk fatty goodness turn to liquid gold as it rolled off the side of the golden brown rectangle of love, onto your nice tie, forcing a workwear redress, while still still eating the offending preservative filled pastry? Him no nuts, him cwazy.

I love Brian Regan...one of the funniest guys I've seen live. Seen him perform twice...my stomach was sore both times from laughing so hard.

That guy is awesome talking about the time saved by microwaving instead of toasting.

Not a big pop tart guy. They become too sweet when you toast them, so I prefer them out of the wrapper.
