Maryland, American and Mount St. Mary's will play in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, which starts with First Four games Tuesday and Wednesday and continues over the next three weeks.
CBS Sports and TNT Sports will provide live coverage of all 67 games across four national television networks (TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV), with all games streamed on NCAA March Madness Live. Games airing on TBS, TNT and truTV will also stream live on Max.
Here's a quick look at the opening games for the Terrapins, Eagles and Mountaineers:
Region and round: West Region, First Round
Day, time and TV: Friday, 4:35 p.m., TBS
How they got here: Maryland received an at-large bid after finishing second in the Big Ten standings and reaching the conference tournament semifinals. Grand Canyon won the Western Athletic Conference tournament as the No. 2 seed.
