Texas Tech survived a first-round test from North Carolina-Wilmington and will now try to reach the Sweet 16 against Drake, an underdog that did find a way in the first round.

The No. 11 Bulldogs jumped out to a lead against No. 6 Missouri and took the air out of the ball for a 67-57 victory. Now they get the Red Raiders Saturday, March 22, and Texas Tech comes in as a 7 1/2-point favorite in what is supposed to be the lowest-scoring game of the second round.

The winner gets a Sweet 16 game in San Francisco next week.
