HP is giving up on WebOS apparently. They've marked down the Touchpad quite a bit. $99 for the 16gb, $149 for the 32gb. Not bad for a tablet with it's specs. They're selling them on their website and so is Best Buy. The downside is that your buying a piece of equipment that isn't going to be getting a ton of support and the amount of apps isn't all that much. If your tech savy, some android developers are already working on porting android onto it. If they're successful, you could have a pretty nice android tablet for a bargain.

Actually I've read that HP will continue supporting the OS. It's the hardware that they're no longer going to do. They're going to license out the OS to other companies.

Ridiculous deal if you're in the market for a tablet. But good luck finding one.

I picked one up on the Best Buy website early this morning (like 4:30am). They only had it available for about an hour before it was sold out. Amazon had it for awhile this afternoon too before it was sold out. HP is going to be selling them online again once they get more stock available (lots of stores have just sent them back to HP).

FYI

HP TOUCHPAD CLEARANCE AND RETURN POLICY

Due to HP's decision to discontinue its TouchPad product, Best Buy® will now provide clearance pricing for all TouchPad 16GB and 32GB models (SKUs 2842056, 2842092) regardless of previously advertised prices or promotions.

Best Buy will not accept customer returns or exchanges on clearance-priced TouchPads bought through any Best Buy channel.

Customers purchasing a TouchPad at clearance pricing will have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, fulfilled directly through HP, not Best Buy.

Customers who purchased the 16GB or 32GB TouchPad after June 19 may come into the store to get either a full refund or a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the clearance price.

Quantities are strictly limited. Limit 1 per customer. Best Buy cannot guarantee availability of inventory at this pricing at any particular Best Buy location or channel.

Sad I missed this deal. They are supposed to have more and will create a website to let people know when more are available

A friend of mine went to one of the Best Buys here and they said they were sending them all back instead of selling them. I'm sure there's going to be plenty more, you'll just have to be quick. :D

I am just looking on craigslist and offering the people that have a used one $100 before it is worthless to them. :) They are also selling on Ebay for around $200 for now I am sure the price will drop as soon as the rush is over.

I think OfficeMax is returning all of theirs. A couple of the stores I called said they were sold out, but some of the others said "we don't sell those anymore". So there should be some to be had soon, hopefully.

If you were worried that you missed out on your opportunity to get an HP TouchPad at the ridiculous price of $99 for the 16GB model or $149 for 32GB, then you're in luck. According to a tweet sent out by an HP employee and an article on International Business Times, HP has a warehouse full of devices that are ready to be shipped out to retail outlets in preparation for part two of the fire sale that's been going on the past few days.

Developers just released an Android port for the Touchpad. It's only an Alpha release so there's still a lot of bugs and some apps don't work, like Facebook. But Netflix does.

Just loaded it up on mine last night:
