I've been a tech junkie forever and have built several HTPC's for my theater. The one low point in the system was always the keyboard and mouse. I've tried so many and never been happy with any of them... that is until 2 days ago. About 3 months ago I saw this coming out and pre-ordered it thinking it would come at the end of April, but it shipped early and I was surprised and pleased to get it early.

This is by far the best HTPC control I've ever expirenced. I wanted to recommend it to others that have a HTPC in their setup. It's bluetooth and has a radius of 30'. The battery only needs to be charged once a month!

No... I get nothing if you buy one, I just wanted to make others aware of this product.

It's a controller for a home theater PC. If you have a PC that controls your home theater, it's a mini wireless keyboard/mouse that you can use to control the PC. Pretty sweet idea actually.

What aspects of a home theater would a PC control, though? That's the part I don't get, I guess. I mean, what would you need a keyboard for?

A HTPC is just like any computer, I have mine in a case that looks like a stereo component. It's hooked up to the the receiver for audio and to the projector for video. I have my blu-ray/HDDVD drive in it and a HD/analog tv card. So instead of having several components, I have one and a receiver. The bonus is I also have oveer 1500gigs of movies, music, and games in the PC and with this keyboard/mouse I can sit back on the sofa and either use the computer or watch a movie, tv, game, listen to music. I'm almost done installing ceiling speakers in all the rooms and back deck, I got a 8 speaker switch box. So when I'm done, we will be able to sit outside and control the music, switch on/off each rooms speakers (the theater is in our basement) because bluetooth can go through walls.

Cool! Thanks for the explanation!
