Looks like if the Diamondbacks can get past the Rockies, Hudson could be back with the team.

Ojeda has more than done the job but if Hudson can play, that will be a lift to this team.

When second baseman Orlando Hudson tore a ligament in his left thumb the first week of September, the timetable for his return was six to eight weeks.

Should the Diamondbacks advance past the Rockies, the World Series would get underway Oct. 24 - approximately seven weeks after the injury.

That would be huge, I'd love to see Hudson playing in the WS, he deserves it!

Doubt he makes it back. He'll be recouped, but he'll have no chance for a rehab start. Jumping strait into a WS after not playing for seven weeks...?

yea...i wouldn't start him, but id like to see him in uniform, and he's still be a better pinch hitter than someone like callaspo.

We could use his speed on the bases. maybe he can at least pinch run.

6-8 weeks...WS in 7...if he can get a rehab start in soon....I'd be satisfied with winning the NL at least.

I wish he was playing right now, though I have to give mad props to Ojeda who has been a wonderful replacement.
