He is egomaniacal, no doubt has the experience and has been very successful as an OC...but his ego and abrasive personality comes along with the deal...

We can do better.

Having a hard time filling this position since it's pretty well known KK will be calling plays and we want our OC as kind of a just a stoog

Trying to make sure Mayfield is extra motivated in the desert next season?

But honestly if this is who Kingsbury wants to work with then you hire him then just think they could do better.

The way we've been interviewing, I've gotta say he's going to be in the discussion.

I know this will be unpopular, but I think Hue's offensive style and willingness to adapt (inheriting the former Jay Gruden offense), could be the better choice.

But I am worried about too many former head coaches in the kitchen. At what point do two former head coaches create a divide from the young, hot HC?

Ugh. I'm so torn on this. I hate him as a head coach, but as the article says, he really is a decent, respected OC.
I for the life of me can't find enough info on any of the offensive coordinators that makes me feel good about any of them. KK said he just wants one to mesh NFL style offenses with the air raid, with that being said, just pick one. If any of them is that great they would already be employed by an NFL team. Not like they're gonna be calling the plays anyway, KK will do that. He just needs to make sure they're not gonna be a problem with the offense if it doesn't click right from the start. Second guessing him to the offense is what I mean.

I can’t really figure out if many users rejects the potential hiring because of Jackson’s two tenures as head coach (which would obviously be completely fair) or his work as an offensive coordinator. I think he is a horrible head coach, but a very good offensive coordinator, and his experience could certainly come in handy. Also, I don’t think he is a bad person that would create problems within the organization.

There are some I would rather see them hire than Hue Jackson, but there is certainly also some I would want less than him.

Hue comes with lots of baggage as the Browns were just horrible in his time there. Additionally its obvious that Mayfield didn't like hm, so working with a young qb like Rosen may be problematic. He would be a real hard sell to the Cards fan base. I really hope the Cards go another direction.
