Two parts

A) For their tenth anniversary, will the Diamondbacks do a "throw back the clock night" where they break out the "old colors" and uni sets that Kendrick and Company seem to want to burn from everyone's memory?

B) Should they/can they legally do a throwback the clock night where they wear all Phoenix Firebirds gear?

Just a few things, after seeing Tampa Bay wear these gems a few nights ago-- mind you, these are a HUGE upgrades from the crap they have now..

I think they'd have to get special permission to wear the Firebirds stuff, but that would be neat. I could see them doing the old colors too, I wouldn't be surprised.

They were, but they were also Phoenix baseball for a large number of years and IMO the testing ground that ultimately netted Phoenix a Major League Baseball team.

Not only were they the Giants team in the Pacific Coast League. They were previously known as the Phoenix Giants.

When the SF Giants were considering relocating to Phoenix, they changed the Minor League club to the Firebirds, so the Phoenix Giants wouldn't be the AAA Giants one season, then the MLB Giants the next.

As an old Dodger fan, I'm glad the SF Giants didn't move here. I could never have rooted for them. Well, maybe if Willie Mays was back in CF.

When the SF Giants were considering relocating to Phoenix,

I've never heard of this, have any more info? I assume this was after they were already in SF, they were thinking of moving to PHX? It wasn't a move straight from NY to Phx was it? I can't imagine that since Phoenix would've been tiny back then.

I think it was when they were trying to get their new stadium they were considering a move to PHX instead of a new SF park.

As PHXSportsFan4 responded, it was after they were in SF, trying to get their new stadium.

I believe they were considering San Jose, too.
