Prince William and Prince George did some father-son bonding in Paris this week as they watched William's favorite soccer team, Aston Villa, play against Paris Saint-Germain at the UEFA Champions League. The duo's coordinating outfits and matching facial expressions were hard to miss, but another interesting detail got my attention—Prince William's body language.

The Prince of Wales focused intently on the game and was quick to celebrate every goal by Aston Villa, going from animated cheers and laughter to fist pumps. His high energy and enthusiasm are a big change from his typical polished composure. And if you need proof, consider the following snaps.

In the above pic, Prince William is so thrilled about Aston Villa's second goal that he jumps to his feet to celebrate, indicating his excitement. And in another shot, the prince happily cheers the team on with a fist in the air.

Also, when Aston Villa scores their third goal, both William and his lookalike son have matching expressions as they celebrate with the rest of the crowd, showing that they're both equally passionate about the game.

Per People, Prince William chatted with TNT Sports and joked that he "left the other two at home," referring to Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. However, the proud dad noted that this was a rare opportunity for him and George.

He said, "It’s been 43 years since anything like this has happened in my generation as a Villa fan, and I want George to experience a night out away from home in a big European competition. I hope it's not 43 years until the next time it happens, but I think those memories are really important to create and to bring him along tonight is a big deal for me."

Following a roller-coaster of emotions, Aston Villa won the match with a 3-2 final score—and of course, no one was happier than Prince William and George.

Looking forward to more father-son moments between the two future kings.
