Wow, those look amazing. Great job!

Reminds me of my chickpea aka garbanzo bean burgers we make at our house. I add bread crumbs and olive oil to hold it all together, but yours looks great without it.

Yea, its a pain to get the patties to hold together while cooking sometimes. Breadcrumbs definitely can help hold them together, I will form the patties then put them in the freezer for an hour to firm them up. Getting a nice sear holds them together too by using plenty of oil in a hot pan. Yum...

This is what happens when your food production system is brutal and unnatural.

Last year it was "Sex Robots are Coming. We Need to Research and Debate Them Now!" 2019 says, "hold my beer."

So you want me to hold your beer while you go at it with the sex robot?

Dare I ask the price?

It was about $2 more than a regular cheeseburger.

I think it was $13 for the "California Burger". Where a regular cheeseburger was $11. Both prices included French fries.

They also had a plant based sloppy joe at another location but I didn't try it. It was the same price as a regular cheeseburger.

I had the impossible burger at BK recently. I've also had it at other restaurants. For me, it's okay. I haven't had beef since I had filet at my high school prom (****, peanut gallery) and that's been 30 years. I'm glad that there is an alternative that appeals to the masses. I just hope my meat alternatives that I have come to enjoy don't disappear because of it.

My fiancee and I were in Sedona over the weekend and the only halfway decent place open late for dinner was Cowboy Club. She hates red meat and didn't want salmon again, so she tried the Impossible Meatloaf and was pleasantly surprised and really liked it. I tasted it too and it was pretty darn good.

Oh, man, that sounds so good. I hadn’t even thought about meatloaf. [emoji1786]

I love how you all are finding these cool places and meals all over the place and sharing them here. [emoji4]
