I had heard so many good things about this show from people with truly discerning tastes. I finally got the first disc, and I couldn't stop watching. Excellent show, edgy for it's time. Basically an older edition of Rome with less production value but at least the same quality if not better top-end actors (Brian Blessed and Derek Jacobi!). I highly recommend this series.
