The guy is worthless, yet gets thrown into the lineup on a pretty consistent basis. Here are his numbers this season:

121 ABs, 1 less than Augie Ojeda
.190 AVG
7 RBIs, which is 2 more than Brandon Webb and Dan Haren who have half as many ABs
0 HR,0 3B, 3 2B, 26TB this season which is the same as Romero in half as many ABs

Don't tell me its good to have a guy that can play every position because we don't need that value out of him when we have backups at
1st: Tracy, Clark
2nd: Augie Ojeda
SS: Augie Ojeda
3rd: D"Antona, Ojeda, Tracy
OF: Romero once Upton is back..

PLEASE DEMOTE CHRIS BURKE AND HIS CONTAGIOUS HORRIBLE OFFENSE. He is the ultimate rally killer and has yet to provide in a win.

I am convinced that Burke has pictures of Melvin doing unmentionable things to a goat. It really is the only logical explination to him remaining on a big league roster with the type of numbers (or lack thereof) he is putting up.
