I haven't seen Amare/Iverson discussion...

If this has been debated to death, I apologize, I have been busy with a sick kid. However, the Amare with Iverson connection at the Olympics has me worried. You would hope a young guy like Amare would hang out with good attitude guys like Duncan, etc. To see he got in trouble with Iverson is a little unsettling. What do you guys think?

Mixed opinion. Iverson is a competitor. He doesn't leave anything on the court when he plays. However, he's not a notoriously hard worker off the court. From everything we hear about Amare is that he works really hard off the court, so unless we hear something different, I wouldn't worry about it.

Where have you read Amare's hanging out with Iverson? The story I read just said they were all late to the same meeting. Maybe Amare went to a late church meeting?

Yes it was said that they were all late and came seperate. According to Chad Ford they were all up to 5 minutes late.

I think Larry Brown blew it. He embarassed those guys who were willing to sacrifice almost their entire summer for team USA for a couple of minutes of coming late to a meeting.
