I wish whiz would give up the play calling duties because that offense this year was just offensive. I mean the rams just picked up McDaniels! You have a nice young OC to pair with a nice young QB. I agree to an extent. But you saw how good our offense was when Hailey was calling the shots. Whiz has not impressed me running the offense. He really needs to put more emphasis on the TE position. As a former TE, I don't understand why whiz or the FO won't bring in or draft a good TE.

The majority of Whisenhunt's tenure with the Cardinals he has called the offense, and not including this year, we always had a top offense.

Hailey failed as playcaller with KC Chiefs. Miserably. Is it a wonder that they brought in Charlie Weis and instantly Matt Cassell became a borderline Pro Bowler and their offense became pretty darn good?

IMO Hailey is overrated by the fans on this board. He is a product of a Scott Pioli built team and great coordinators.

Even if Whiz would just name a OC from within like Miller it would be better than him calling the plays.

As for DC I hear ya on the frustration. I hope the waiting pays off with Butler or a good hire but so far it looks like (cheap) business as usual.

Not true. Haley drew up a play on the plane for the playoff game. He has to be the greatest OC ever to hit the sidelines. Actually, you are 100% correct.

just because those teams are making changes doesn't mean they will be better. They may end up having a terrible working relationship. When the Cards hire Butler all will be well.
