I need some opinions...

What seats would be a good choice for someone who doesnt want to be sitting in the sun?

First DBacks game. I'd like to sit close to the action.

Is this possible??

The roof will most likely be closed on Sunday, so you can pretty much sit anywhere. But, if you want to know for sure, you should call the ticket office, one of the people there will be able to help you more specifically.

The roof WILL be closed all weekend. 602-379-7663 is the roof hotline.

If it was opened, the 1B/RF side of the north-facing field gets most of the sun. In the afternoon, the 3B/LF side gets more shady as the sun begins to set behind that side of the building.

Evening games 1B side gets the sun setting thru some side windows with the roof closed. Upper deck, sec 305-310 (appx) gets a little uncomfortable.

Day game should not be an issue for you.
