Man, this game is hard to listen to. At the least game is pretty much over and now he is just sounds dejected. Until now, I have never heard someone announce a game who wanted one team to win and praise them so much.

How could he not? He should not have been given this game.

Wow. People must hear what they want to hear. My wife kept asking me if the commentators were FOR the Cardinals because they kept saying positive things about our team.

She was shocked when I told her one of the announcers was former Cowboy Troy Aikman.

Joe Buck was doing a great job of talking us up. Maybe she can't tell the difference?

I think both of the announcers are focusing on Dallas too much. They've mentioned Romo numerous times and he's not even playing. I suppose they have to cater to the national audience but it's a little sickening.

That's exactly what it is. Every damn game is oh man the announcers are against us. No there not

And Joe Buck, what a complete tool. If you have an opinion, say it and stand behind it. "Everyone is waiting for the Cardinals to fall back to Earth." No Joe, there are plenty of people that can see the Cards are playing good football. Go back to being Aikman's little punk. It is disgusting those two are fox's top announcing duo.

Honestly I think Aikman is pretty professional. Joe Buck on the other hand sounds like he's going to have an orgasm every time Dallas gains a yard.

Of the two you would expect Aikman to be a total homer but I think he does his job fairly well, even for Dallas games. Buck is horrendous though.

Yeah when it was 2nd and goal from the 1 and he started talking about Dallas stopping us and holding us to a FG to flip the game I thought the same thign.

Agreed. This board gets over it's ski's some times with perceived hate and bias against the Cardinals.

Well go back to Dallas first series if you DVR'd the game when Buck droned on about how Weeden "was the most prepared backup in the NFL" and there'd be lttile or no drop-off without Romo.

They said it on the ESPN pregame show as well. Because of romo's back injury last year, Dallas has made sure to give Weeden practice reps in case this happened. So, yes, because of Weeden's practice reps he has had more practice snaps than most other backup QBs in the NFL. This shoul dmake him more prepared than other backup QBs.

What did you want him to say? "The Cards are about to score a touchdown and put this game away. Everyone should feel free to turn the game off as it is OVER."

I think Aikman is one of the better announcers/former players. He is usually pretty objective. I'd rather listen to him than the John Lott (is it that guy) and some of the other stupid idiots we've had at the beginning of the season who can't even get names and numbers right.

I don't mind him. Buck is bad though and even worse at baseball.

Yeah, Buck sucks. I can't stand anything he does.

I agree but there is definately a bias from the national media. Not against us but they are definately in love with the cowboys.

That being said I didnt think the announcers did a bad job.

When the team you root for has made as many football talking heads look stupid as the Cardinals have, there is going to be bias. Also, most national media are older people whose main experience has been the lousy Cardinals, with lousy ownership, and lousy players.

Yeah. I totally agree. Im just saying its there and not personal. Consostant winning fixes that.

Unless you are the cowboys and then apparently you get a pass for a decade or two.

Well if they're unbiased I don't think in that situation, where we were going for the kill, the emphasis should have been on the unlikely event they'd stop use and turn the game on its head, do you?

When we played three games with back-ups, who took all the snaps, that positivity was not being extolled by the national media.

Yeah. I do. Their job is ratings and keeping viewers tuned in. Pointing out that with a field goal the cowboys are still in the game is EXACTLY what they should do.
