Caution-----the lack of OTA's last year should be reason enough to realize that this work is VERY necessary for the progression to a successful season. THis is the time for installing the offense and the defense in an orderly fashion. It is time that is needed for an orderly introduction into the playbook and the schemes.
In NJ, we got hockey
(although I'd just as soon forget the OT last night).
I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I don't think NJ wins more than 1. LA is just on absolute fire. I would like to see Brodeur win though...In NJ, we got hockey

I don't like to make predictions. What I will say is: (1) LA seems more physical (may I say "Flyers-like?") than the Devils and (2) It's been a Devil hallmark that they're good at learning and adjusting (i.e. despite the breakaway goal at the end, they were getting better in the 3rd period and OT at handling with the physicality of the Kings). Maybe it will be a harbinger of things to come.I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I don't think NJ wins more than 1. LA is just on absolute fire. I would like to see Brodeur win though...
The NHL playoffs have been awesome!!! I can't recall seeing as many OT games as this year. Even without my team making the playoffs (Canadiens), the playoff have been excellent. This should be an exciting final!!
