The most imaginative, gutsy playcalling I have ever seen, and a class act during the trophy presentation. What an unbeliveable game!

It was great play calling. But what really sticks out to me was the execution of the plays. Boise State did about 6 trick plays to win and all were executed very well, including a play that was designed to pitch back to the QB and the RB realizing that OSU had the QB covered and just ran for it. It's not like they practice these trick plays all the time. But under intense pressure, the team executed those plays to perfection. That's just good solid coaching.
Also another thing I noticed was the Head coach gave credit to the backup QB for making up that fake throw/ hand off for the 2 point play. That means the Coach listens to his team and acts upon the good ideas. Quality all the way.

Chris Petersen showed more creative coaching and cajones in this one game than the Cardinals' staff did in eight games at home this year.
OT - That game was a perfect example of why, when recording a football game, you should never forget to reset your TIVO or DVR recording-duration from "end of program" to add an extra 30 minutes or even an hour. My recording ended 6:00 or 7:00 minutes early and I missed all the good stuff.
I realize talk is cheap, but before the game, Peterson waxed enthusiastic about the "just folks" (how safe downtown is) lifestyle in Boise and intimated that he didn't plan to go anywhere.
To heck with innovative play calling or topnotch talent evalution or great game management.
I want a coach from New Orleans.
Somebody who might have some experience with removing curses.
I am so with you on this, Muggum...brains and guts...please some of both this time around, please!!!I'd hire the guy TODAY. Get it done. He has brains and guts. Two things in short supply among Cardinals head coaches over the years...
GET IT DONE.
I wish we had gotten to see that crazy pplay where the linemen for Boise St were all lined up at the bottom of the screen, and then OK challenged a call and we never saw the formation again. What the heck was that?
