Yeah. If our offense doesn't improve significantly, we are in big trouble. If Palmer continues to play like this (and that was against 2 bad defenses!) it might not be worth activating DJ if we're out of the playoff hunt by then. BA must find a way to get the ball out of Palmer's hands much quicker. Palmer is at his best when comfortable, and our OL not good enough to provide enough time for classic BA plays to develop. Still take some deep shots off play action here and there, but especially without DJ and a weak OL we must compensate with a solid quick passing game.

What gives me hope is that all NFC West games will be defensive slugfests. 49ers at Seahawks yesterday was a prime example. Whoever scores a TD is very likely to win. Our defense is not quite there yet, showing flashes but not finishing yet, missing out on sacks and crucial 3rd down tackles. But with enough time to get things right and young players like Budda, Reddick and some DL depth emerging, we could hang in there with most opponents as long as BA is willing to adapt the offense.

Nkemdiche only played 27% of snaps, must still be hurt.

CJ needs to be our starting RB.

It looked bad but I was IN KC when we lost 49-0, I was in Cleveland we lost 44-6 (or something like that), and I witnessed the Ryan Lindley home game against Seattle. So I'll say it was a great game to attend....:lmao:
Don't forget mcnabb 28-0 after the first in Minnesota, the 42-7 debacle in Atlanta, or the 49-24 whooping in GB. You're bad luck....

Hey I didn't want to share all of our bad luck You're bad luck, jack wagon. Just think of all the games we got smoked in the old SDS we didn't miss a one. This is why I told you when we go to Philly I'm dressing as an eagles fan. I trying to make the football gods think we're not there. Besides if we get whooped Bucky will never go to another game with us... Although we did win in Dallas when all three of us were there.

PS Bucky was at that 28-0 first half debacle too, so it could be him...Just sayin!!!

We should view this ugly win as a "gift that should not be squandered.

Usually, it's the other team who plays poorly but comes back to beat us late. This time we figured out how to do it - hang around and keep it close enough to pull even late in the game and then win it with a late-FG.

Ain't pretty, but this is how some winning teams do it. The coaches should treat it as a "teaching moment" and use it to help us win more games in the clutch.

The whole team looked jet lagged in the first half.

The roof could have been open as it was a nice day, but I feel like they wanted to help boost the crowd noise -- which was really, really good.

That Nelson TD catch cannot be overstated - it was a dagger into the heart of the crowd and it took them out of the game. The funnier part is, the Colts fans in my section were irate about the roughing penalty. I told the lady next to me, "They're going to call that every time. If it had been Luck you'd be screaming bloody murder." She didn't talk to me the rest of the game.

I've seen 5 Cardinals games in my life. Every one of them has been a nail-biter. Once, just once, I'd like to see a blowout, LOL.

Me too. Look at Denver. Two months ago they didnt even know who their starting QB was going to be. But they stepped up and spanked the medias early choice to represent the NFC in the super bowl.
I want to see blowouts... but not blowouts over the Niners and clevelands of the world...every once in a while we should get to watch a solid statement game...blowout a premier team at full strength.

Agreed. Let's not play the "who attended the worst Cardinals performance ever" game.....some of us were at this Lindley-led debacle in NJ in 2012: http://grantland.com/the-triangle/b...he-jets-cardinals-quarterback-failure-clinic/

Scroll down to the very last sentence for a rather ominous note considering our current O-Line play and play calling....

The roughing penalty was weak - Sheard's hand glanced against Palmer's head, but it was very much not a blow to the head.

Agreed, but it's been made a point of emphasis. They're going to call it every time. Coaches should have been coaching for it on an ongoing basis.

Last week the Lions shot themselves in the foot the first part of the game and then recovered. The Colts waited until the 4th quarter to self destruct. Also, I thought some of the Colts calls on offense were bad. But thanks to that, we won.

Not laughing because Yes I was at those and also Kansas City a few years ago when they lost badly. St. Louis, Cleveland, Jacksonville and Indy are the only road wins I have been on.
