this makes that MNF game much more interesting. I'm going to be there rooting my ass off- we haven't had a meaningful December game in a really long time. Good luck the rest of the way.

Seems foolish.I would never be glad a division foe right on our tail won, although I did feel kinda bad for the Rams today.

Always gotta have faith as a 49ers fan, all year...every year.

You guys have got a tough game against the Texans next week. I'm glad they are out of our hair and we got a "W" against them. That's a team that can make the playoffs in the AFC IMO.

Every week is a tough game with the 49ers...especially if you take a look at all the teams in the NFL. Anything could happen each week. As a fan, one game (against Falcons) is not going change my view of this team...I believe we could make the playoffs but we won't run away from anyone.

You sure your not doing a little CYA for your team gohard? So when the time comes that the 49ers may just not be who you guys thought they were, you have an out? Most of the Niner fans that I know, and that I read are "all in" and just relish showing up all the opposing fans when the Niners are doing good.

Don't be gun shy now.

The Texans are an extremely difficult matchup for the Niners. Even though the Cardinals had a great defensive effort in the 1st half, they were almost unstoppable in the 2nd half. To beat the Texans, you need to be able to outscore them or injure Schaub early in the game (he is fragile). You better be able to put 30 on the board against them & the Niners offense, with or without Gore, isn't there yet. The Texans are a scary team & if Schaub stays healthy, they will beat a lot of good teams this year.

Frank Gore is coming back but Noners don't have enough offense to worry me. If they ever get a QB and a passing game then they can be considered a threat. You have to feel bad for the bay area, they have either Shaun Hill or Jamarcus Russell to watch.

I don't know what you're talking about but Warner isn't exactly the greatest QB to watch either.

Hill and Russell might not be the best QBs but in the Bay Area, we ride and die with our teams. Watching the Raiders and Niners is a tradition here. The Niners haven't had 1 blackout for as long as I could remember even when they were sucking. We don't have fans that only show up when the team is winning and our stadium doesn't get taken over on national TV either.

Warner is far,far from the greatest..I just know that his career record against the 9ers is 10-2 and one of those 2 was due to a missed 20 yard fieldgoal in regulation time.It was'nt blocked or nearly blocked.Rackers just missed it.So just escaping the 11-1 record he should have. That one win being this year.I would'nt call that too bad.Plus I fully agree with you in having to watch him beat your team that often is the greatest thing either.:DKurt Warner IS the 9er Killer.

With next year he should retire 13-2 against the 9ers.Then Leinart will begin a new streak.

Comparing a future Hall of Famer to Shaun Hill and Jamar-cuss (cuz thats all you do when you watch him ;) ) should be listed in the Cardinals rules of this site as a bannable offense.

What a travesty.

And we have 37 straight sellouts so that little take is getting old too.

Your team was exposed last week and Sing can only rally the troops so much before it just becomes white noise. At some point you have to have a schematic advantage not just be a rah rah guy.

Good luck getting to December.

Just ignore BlowHard guys, he's just here to stir up the pot. The Niners are in 1st place & we don't stand a chance against them.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
I agree that Warner's record is great against us but that was when the Rams are actually one of the greatest teams in the league- you know when you guys were still stuck in that stadium with about 5,000 fans each game. Warner is going to be a Ram when he retires so him going to the HOF or not has nothing to do with your franchise.

I can't wait for Leinart to start so Patrick can go head hunting!

Ronin, hate to do this to ya, but gohard is now the official

In football, players dont enter the hall as players for certain teams. As for KW going into the HOF most thought he was on the edge until last season. So I think it has everything to do with the fact he was a cardinal. But hey lets not let facts get in the way of a good story.

Don't be so sure about The Warner as a Ram thing. He is about 1200 yards away from passing for more yards as a Cardinal as he did with the Rams. Who knows? There might not even be a team in St Louis by the time he is eligible for the HOF.
I wouldn't worry yoo much about our MNF match-up. You had better worry about getting there. Four of your next 6 games include the Texans, Colts, Bears and Packer. BTW, 3 of those are on the road. I can see the 9er's with their inept offense being 5-6 by that point.

Let me remind you also you guys were lucky enough to slip by us and then beat up on 2 teams that stink in the Rams and the Seahawks. Not really something to hang your hat on.

to even remotely entertain that Warner is as boring to watch as Hill is beyond reason. Warner might be in the Hall of Fame in the years to come, Hill might be in a hall mopping floors in the next couple of years. Niners will win with their defense and running game if they do.. a running game which will have huge problems against the Cardinal run defense.

Actually you are not glad we won at all. The niners and all their fans were hoping we would lose. You are far more afraid of us than the Seahawks or Rams. Sounds good but you aren't being truthful.

gohard, if you want to post here, then be mindful about what you post. The same ol' argument about out our fanbase is unacceptable in this forum.
