Agree. The wheels may have been about to come off anyway, but he ensured it with that call. I place this loss, and the magnitude of it, and the impact of it on kyler’s psyche, all in KK. I haven’t been a kk hater to date, I’ve been frustrated with some of his getting too cute, time mismanagement, and balls shriveling in the red zone. But today he just crapped the bed in a manner that hurt the whole team.

and mind you, I think today was a bad game by kyler. He didn’t find solutions. He didn’t create much.

But I think we were in the game despite ourselves, not due to much effort in our part. It felt (and looking at stats at the half it kinda was) like we should’ve been getting blown out. So unless we made plays to take advantage of that, eventually the walls were going to cave in. And then kk pulled out the central support of what little was keeping the structure standing and total collapse ensued.

When you’re a team playing over it’s head you try to keep the game muddy. Don’t give the better team an advantage they don’t already have like handing them the ball at the 30 with a short field. Dumb.

the longer you can keep the game muddy the better shot you have of stealing one. Kk gave up that opportunity too early.

Maybe. They hadn't been doing it all game up until that point. Now if it was a shootout then I guess it would make a little more sense.

That was my feeling and if you cannot get that yard or run at all on a team, then why should you win. Score shows the better team and we are not good enough to beat the Saints with smoke and mirrors for four quarters. I still think the Saints are a much better team than the Niners so far and while beating the Saints to me was highly unlikely, I really do see us having a chance against San Francisco in a tight one
