IE question

Whenever I open up IE it adds a "links" folder to my favorites. Anyone know how to stop this? It is annoying to me.

Are you talking about the link folder on your tool bar or just in your favorites folder? It is a built in function of IE you can't delete it, it will just keep coming back

If you do a google search there is a registry setting that you can do to fix it.

But an easier, quick and dirty solution is just to make that folder always hidden.

Go to your windows explorer (right-click on start menu button and select "explore")

Navigate to "C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Favorites"

Right click on the "Links" folder and select "properties". Then click on the hidden checkbox and it wont show up in your IE any more.
