I hear that once you install IE7, you cannot un-install it.

I've heard baaaaaad things. Mainly from work people, so who knows.

I Microsoft says you can uninstall it. I haven't tried it yet.

I did uninstall the beta off of a computer.

I installed it this weekend. No problems so far.

I've been using it for about 6 months, ever since the Beta came out and I haven't had a single problem.

But I still use Firefox mostly...but IE now and then.

I had to uninstall it from my office computer...... it had a really bad memory leak. My computer would slow down if I opened IE

Yeah today is my first day of using it at work. So we will see how it goes. I do like the features though.

I tried it for a bit and I'm just not a fan. Firefox 2 is leaps and bounds better.

LMAO @ Ken.

That was going to be 'I think you can uninstall it'.

Nice edit. I guess they are corrupting my brain. :)

Still can't make FF work correctly with a lot of sites I visit, as well as some internal IP hardware items, like our IP based security cameras.

The really odd part is if you don't try these sites with both you never know you are missing a ton of options with Firefox.

There's a plugin for that which makes pages designed for IE showup correctly in FF

Got every plug in I could find, (i figured it must be the java one, but I got all of them anyway) my buttons still don't work right in FF2. In some cases they don't even show up at all...

The two computers I downloaded it in the last couple days onto promptly started freezing up all the time when I'm using non-Microsoft programs like Corel or aol. Wish I hadn't downloaded it.

Anyone having problems with Java with ie7? I restored my mother in laws computer and loaded ie7 and some game sites that need Java will not work. I uninstalled 7 and went back to 6 and it is working fine.

FireFox 2 completely owns the crap out of me, and IE7.

I absolutely cannot live without my extensions, either.
