If Hood particularly cant go, I dont trust that Ralph Brown can get through an entire game vs a good team without costing us dearly..

This is bad news about Hood and his worsening rib injury.. I trust DRC, but if we're starting a true rookie and Ralph Brown at CB, we're in trouble..

Would be nice if we could get Rod and Eric back.. with those two and DRC our CBs are actually pretty good.

But anyway, unless Hood recovers, we're gonna be in for a tough game Sunday with Brown starting

Never was the biggest fan of Ralph Brown, but I'm just amazed at how bad he's been. Terrified is a good word to use if he starts this Sunday.

I wonder who would play nickleback?

This is my idea, start Francisco at FS with Ware backing him up. Move Rolle to CB and Brown to 3rd CB

It looked like Matt Ware had those duties this last Sunday.

Not a bad option IMO.

Either we are absolutely screwed or this will force Pendy to grow a set and come after the QB ALL DAY.

Is Leigh Torrence still out there? Could he be a one-game solution?

Never mind, looks like the Saints picked him up.

Ralph Brown had a good game last week and saved a TD in the past two games.

And if Wilson gets suspended, thats 3/4 of our secondary out for the game. Yikes....

If the Cardinals appeal, which Whis said they would, any suspension would probably be delayed until the appeal is heard.

Well, other guys have been stepping up. This week will be no different. I don't care how good the Giants are, there will be a cople of keys to this game.

Defense needs to pressure Manning and play tight in the red zone. The Giants are going to have a certain amount of success running the ball. If that's the only thing we focus on Manning will have a field day.

The offense needs to continue to do what we are doing , however, this is a game we must not have any turnovers.

Special teams must play a perfect game.

If all that happens we will not only be competitive, but we will win this game.

Prior to the last couple of games, my opinion was pretty much in line with that of phillycard, Brown was bad!

But I agree with Dcr that Brown has stepped up the last couple of games, especially Sunday vs. the Seahawks.

It could be that Brown had trouble when being used sporadically but performs at a higher level when called upon to play more significant minutes. For some individuals it is tougher to perform at peak when they are just being inserted at a few points each game. However when that same individual is able to get into the flow of the game and have more substantial minutes their quality of play rises significantly.

All that said, I hope at least Hood can play and it would be good if Green can go also! :)

Hood can't tackle and the Giants only pass when absolutely forced to do so. I don't think we'll miss Hood this week at all. After that it is a different story.

It may be a good idea to move Rolle back to CB for the game if they can't go. For what it's worth, it's your bigger receivers that he has some success against.

Of course if Jacobs doesn't go we can play more with 7 in the box, too.

I don't agree with moving Rolle to CB. If he does, be prepared for the Giants to burn him deep and the refs to throw yellow hankies all over the field. Don't try to fix a problem and create another.
