Unless its been said elsewhere that he will pitch in AZ, which would mean he would be on 5 days rest.

Mother Nature helping to give Diamondbacks fans a good reason to come to Chase Field?

Randy Johnson's pursuit of his 300th victory is being delayed by rain in Washington, D.C., and, if the game is not played tonight Johnson's start likely would come tomorrow.

If Johnson were to fail to win No. 300 on Thursday, his next start would figure to come Tuesday at Chase Field against the Diamondbacks.

If Johnson does pitch tonight, and fails to win, his next start likley would come Monday at Florida.

I kind of hope it happens that he gets to go against the D'backs, it would be fitting.

Id be shocked if it were anything else. Id say theres maybe a 10% chance its an Ms hat, but with winning those Cy Youngs, throwing a perfect game and winning the Series w/ the Snakes, thats how he'll go in.

Now the question is, will it be the "A" hat or the "D" hat? The current team wears the D logo more often (and its a bit different than the old D). I imagine all D'backs that go in with wear the "A" logo since its the original logo and hasn't changed (other than in color but that doesnt matter for the bust).

I think ever since Boggs wanted to go in as a Devil Ray, the HOF has picked and not the player. With that said, I would be shocked to not see him go in as a D'Back. He won his only championship here, only WS MVP, and 4 of his five Cy Young awards in Arizona.

Its not his choice and he was probably just in a mood at the time since the D'backs hadn't resigned him. He lives in Phoenix and 5 years after he retires those emotions will probably fade.
