Hard to weigh this since I have been a fan since 73 and watched many games in St. Louis. Wish I could have picked St Louis and Arizona era both.

Fan since 67....Coryell era was awesome to watch but also deflating when they flopped in the playoffs...Trip to the Super Bowl was great but again the ending still haunts me....

Easily the post-Stadium era. In 11 years we've won 5 playoff games, been to the playoffs 4 times, won 3 division titles, gone to 2 NFC title games and a Super Bowl.

Yup. I'm born(82) and raised here in arizona so I've pretty much known the cardinals most of my life and boy there were some dark dark days and I just chuckle when I hear people complain about the team now.

Current era is least depressing.

At least now, we've seen some pretty exciting Card defenses.

Even during the Jim Hart/Coryell days, we always had to cross our fingers hoping that our porous defense wouldn't betray us.

I chose the Jim Hart/ Jackie Smith era when I was still pretending to be a Cardinal in my back yard... innocent and full of hope and love of heroes.

I enjoyed the Cardiac Cards & Plummer’s playoff win over Dallas was outstanding. Still Warner’s turn at QB had to be the top.

Growing up, it was easy to be a Dolphin fan or Steelers fan but to be a Cardinals fan was unheard of. I went years only knowing one other Card fan in my town. I've been mocked, laughed at, scorned but my allegiance never wavered.

In the Poll, I'm the only fan that was able to check off the top box. I'm 80 years old and started following the Cardinals in 1947, but I wasn't a front runner, even though they won the championship in 1947, and lost in the finals in 1948. I became a FB Cardinals' fan because in 1945 I became a BB Cardinals' fan. Like most fans I mostly remember the good times of the 70 years as a fan. I've been VERY FORTUNATE to have my sports heroes start with Stan Musial and end with Larry Fitzgerald. I'VE BEEN BLESSED.

The poll was a little confusing.

My favorite time to watch this team ? Easy. From the beginning to the end of Anquan Boldin's tenure on this team. So much happened at that time, that shattered the mold that this organization was about.

That was exciting.

I wanted to pick the St Louis era since I've been a fan since the '60's but I have to go with the 21st Century, current malaise notwithstanding. TV coverage was so lacking back then that it was hard to follow them completely. I lived for Monday night football halftime when Cosell did the weekly highlights so I could get a recap of the game.

My uncle had End Zone season tickets in the Old Busch Stadium. Used to go to a lot of games there with him. We lived in South County and he lived in North County. Unheard of now but my parents used to put me on the Bistate Bus which ran right by the stadium. Told the Bus Driver to make sure I got off the bus there. Then go to the Stan Musial statue and wait for my uncle. I was around 9 at the time. Did not matter the weather I always enjoyed going to games. Still do!!!

In those days, MNF half-time was the BEST!

Younger guys/gals can't imagine if your favorite team wasn't on the national broadcasts on Sunday, or Monday the only glimpses of them you got to see would be the "halftime highlights" on MNF!

My best recollection is watching the dream backfield of Paul Christman, Elmer Angsman, Charlie Trippi and Pat Harder play in Comiskey Park against the Bears. If I recall correctly, Ed Sprinkle of the Bears clothes lined Trippi who got up and cold cocked Sprinkle. I think I snuck in because I was only in grammar school.

Why no choice for all of it? I bleed Cardinal red. Will root for them regardless of era and take pride in past glory the same way. I'm a lifelong fan. Past, present and future.,,,

+1

The Coryell years had a couple of really good seasons and they were fun to watch. But the above has been better IMO.

Been a fan since 1966 and always have rooted for the Cards. Always will.
