Anyone watch this? It's MMA in a team format. Some good fighters but not on par with UFC or Pride. The real draw is the coaches and the superfights they have. In time the level of competition should improve because of the coaches. Bas Rutten is one of the founders and is a commentator.

Coaches:
Maurice Smith
Pat Miletich
Ken Yasuda
Renzo Gracie
Matt Lindland
Shawn Tompkins
Frank Shamrock
Carlos Newton
Ken Shamrock
Marco Ruas
Igor Zinoviev
Don Frye

I watched this for the first time last year and I have to say that it's an interesting concept. While I've never said that MMA is a completely individual sport (afterall, you need trainers, partners, etc.), this concept changes the whole issue. It makes it seem more like wrestling in college were a team is literally only as good as it's weakest link. Very intruguing, seems almost like a possible training ground for UFC and Pride.

Yep. Their big gun fighter is my buddy Mike Whitehead, of Season II Ultimate Fighter fame.
