Well I made it through the game safe and sound--yeah there are some thugs here but I never really felt unsafe. There is safety in numbers and I wasn't about to head down a dark alley alone.
Well about the game, the SuperDome is OK, you can tell its old but to be honest you can't tell it was affected by the hurricane or by the people tearing it up inside when it was used as a shelter.
Before the game I saw Leinart throwing some passes--nothing big but it shows that at least he is healing. He tends to hang out more with the WRs than the other QBs on the sideline.
Rackers was missing kicks in warm ups from about 35 yds he banged one off the upright and from further out he was either short or wide. It came as no surprise that he missed that one during the game, no that a 50+ yder is a gimme.
Our pass rush stinks, our secondary stinks and the team continues to make stupid mistakes (penalties). I loved seeing the fake punt, it was gutsy especially considering where we were on the field.
I didn't see a ton of Cardinal fans there but they were there, one guy wearing a chicken suit painted red sat a few rows in front of me(worst Cardinal bird suit I've ever seen). Even met one guy after the game from Tupelo, MS who became a Cardinal fan because of Buddy Ryan(thought that was strange). If the Cardinals come back here again sometime in the next couple of years I will make the drive down again, New Orleans is a cool city.
