This is my first time in this city. My hotel is a short walk from the French Quarter and about a mile from the stadium. Bourbon Street is just a wild place, never seen anything like it on such a large scale. Its like Mill Ave times 1000.

I hope the game tomorrow is awesome but if not Bourbon Street can more than make me forget about it :)

NO is the best...I love it there. The best food is off Bourbon street, but don't go tooo far off.

And go to Brennan's at some point for Bananas Foster...good stuff.

Enjoy the game, and the city.

Damn, I'm envious...it's one city I'd love to go back to.

9 AM time to head to Harrahs for Brunch and then off to the SuperDome.

Go Cards.

I can only hope Zeno does'nt turn on the lights in his room anywhere between the hours of 2 to 5 am. He will see some bugs that could wear a saddle.

Don't venture too far off the beaten path my friend, else you will be beaten into the path. Plenty of fun, plenty of dangerous people there. Travel in groups & don't get overly intoxicated. I had a friend beaten to a pulp just off Bourbon St. about 20 yrs ago. He suffered permanent brain damage & is a shell of himself these days.

Well I made it through the game safe and sound--yeah there are some thugs here but I never really felt unsafe. There is safety in numbers and I wasn't about to head down a dark alley alone.

Well about the game, the SuperDome is OK, you can tell its old but to be honest you can't tell it was affected by the hurricane or by the people tearing it up inside when it was used as a shelter.

Before the game I saw Leinart throwing some passes--nothing big but it shows that at least he is healing. He tends to hang out more with the WRs than the other QBs on the sideline.

Rackers was missing kicks in warm ups from about 35 yds he banged one off the upright and from further out he was either short or wide. It came as no surprise that he missed that one during the game, no that a 50+ yder is a gimme.

Our pass rush stinks, our secondary stinks and the team continues to make stupid mistakes (penalties). I loved seeing the fake punt, it was gutsy especially considering where we were on the field.

I didn't see a ton of Cardinal fans there but they were there, one guy wearing a chicken suit painted red sat a few rows in front of me(worst Cardinal bird suit I've ever seen). Even met one guy after the game from Tupelo, MS who became a Cardinal fan because of Buddy Ryan(thought that was strange). If the Cardinals come back here again sometime in the next couple of years I will make the drive down again, New Orleans is a cool city.

We just got back, By far the best time We have had at a away game. Our Hotel was in the French Quarter. Like Zeno said, Bourbon street is a lot of fun. We saw quite a few Cards fans.

For some reason, before the game Rackers was trying to punt footballs to the upper deck of the Super dome. I don't know if He knew someone up there or what ?. But the two that I seen came up short....The Saints fans was real nice to us. No problems...The Cards defense was bad, lots of problems.

I wish they would add New Orleans to the NFCW, So that We could go every year.... Wish We would have won.
