I saw them in Sept at Ak Chin. The bill was Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin and Bush. Bush was absolutely great!I believe I read they are coming to Phoenix in February. Lineup looked pretty good. I'll look it up later, but I think it was Bush, Jerry Cantrell, Candlebox, and Silversun Pickups.
Edit: Yep, 2/1/23 at The Van Buren. Tickets go on sale later this week.
Thank you for introducing me to Cincotti. Good stuff! This past week I have pulled some dvds I've had for awhile and listened to them. I just replaced an old sub woofer in my home theater setup.
1: Roy Orbison, "BLACK&WHITENIGHT", (SACD)
2: Chris Botti in Boston (bluray), and
3: Peter Cincotti, Live in New York (bluray from Monster Music).
I was given this DVD just last week and listened to/watched it over the weekend. I'm not a real big jazz fan, but did enjoy it. Even my wife, who is not into jazz, enjoyed it . The only option to listen was in 2.0 stereo.
I do prefer the surround if it is mixed for surround. I don't enjoy the stereo mix being divided into the pl2 or the neo mix as much.
I think a good surround mix really immerses you with the music a lot better than stereo. I've got a haphazard 5.1 setup.
There is no taking into positioning and room acoustics at all. Wife won't let me and, my hearing is about shot.
My espresso machine (relatively inexpensive), Breville quit working this weekend. I'm waiting on a call back from their support.
So, right now (while waiting), I'm listening to the Zombies, next up will be the Righteous Brothers.
