Everything Meryl is in, and dont get me wrong, Meryl is great, but the media is just sooooooooo ugh it seems like no matter what it is she is in it's like automatically the best movie ever and she's guaranteed to be nominated for best actress.

"Meryl Streep gives a breathtaking, astounding, incredible, spectacular, momentus, astonishing, once in a lifetime performance as the voice of Porky Pig!"

So maybe not overrated, just overhyped.

Thing is, I think Streep can back up the awards. She is a spectacular actress.

Did you see The Post? A middling Spielberg movie, to be sure, but she was fantastic in it. Acted circles around Tom Hanks, who I love.
Don't get me wrong, she is good, but in my humble opinion, a little overrated.

How about Renee Zellwiger in Cold Mountain was just a tad over the top? Speaking of overrated actresses, I don't find Nicole Kidman a particularly good actress.
