This trade is $20,000 off, so there would have to be either cash or an exemption fromt he league.

Richardson
Carroll

PHX sends:

This trade would now allow us to trade Bell and Diaw for a player such as Dalembert, for example.

NOH sends:

Peterson

PHX sends:

ATL#1

----------------------------------------------

MIL sends:

Alright. I'm done. Each trade can be debated on its own merit and I know that there is no way in hell that some of these are even open for real discussion, but it's time for the Suns to do something....

That's crap. Teams call for Marion every single year. They may not want to give up want the Suns want but there are a ton of teams that want him.

its NOT crap. Marion right now is an expiring contract essentially. what kind of management is going to give up its young talent for Marion? you'll then have an unhappy Marion just WAITING to opt out, leaving this team with no young talent and NO MARION.

the ONLY logical one in the mess of trades is Chicago, because we'd be taking back one of the worst contracts in the league, while also getting back young talent. take out Diaw and Nocioni and you MIGHT have Chicago bite.

Marion is all-star talent, but he COULD be a 4 month rental of all-star talent. NO team is going to leverage their future on that

Yes it is crap. The part that is crap is that nobody wants Marion. I get the reason in terms of trading for a "rental" player. However, the insinuation is that nobody wants Marion period....which again is CRAP. Mark my words the Suns will field several calls between now and the trading deadline.
