In Summary?

Hi guys,

Sure enough, I'm on the road for a week and that's when the Cards decide to sign averyone and their uncle (except for a pass rusher). Anyway, I'm planning on reviewing most of the posts when I get a chance, but I was hoping you would help me out by summarizing your thoughts on the recent signings (do you feel it's positive/negative, why, who would you rather have seen here, etc...)

Jeff Blake
Dexter Jackson
James Darling (who is this guy--I don't know anything about him)
James Hodgins


BTW, I was driving all over TX this past week and everyone is seriously pissed about the possibility of him playing a Cardinals' uni next year. I have mixed feelings about it, but it sure was fun to give 'em hell about it.

Jeff Blake......more TD's than INT's.....throws the deep ball.....better than Plummer.

Dexter Jackson....young safety who was Super Bowl MVP.

James Hodgins....a road grader for a blocker.

James Darling.....will compete for starting outside or in at linebacker.....great special teamer.


All of these seem to be positive.....upgrades at very little cost.

The downsides this FA period are of course losing DB and not getting a pass rusher. Hopefully a veteran WR or DE will come our way or we get lucky in the draft.
