This movie makes me sad. I took my girls to see the first one when they were little and they loved it, but they are too old now and I cant get them to go see this with me even with promises of Nachos which usually always works. lol Just not as interested in cartoons as they used to be. Part of growing up, but sad for Dad. :(

I'll have to be the weird adult that goes to see this one day by myself haha, cuz I totally want to see it! lol

oh man... that's a bummer! I'm surprised the nostalgia doesn't bring them back tho. It definitely did for my little brother who loved the original as a child and was super geeked up to see it at age 20 now. Are your girls teenagers? maybe they just don't think it's cool at that age?

Yeah, 14 and 12 so the oldest is too cool and my youngest kinda just follows her lead. I'll get them to it eventually. ;) Might have to sweeten the pot and throw some Butterfingers in or something lol.

It's weird tho, they absolutely do not like going to the movies and it's like my main interest! Maybe I burned them out when they were little. lol

Same thing is unfolding with one of our boys. Just too restless for a full movie. At 8. The 7 year old still looooves them. Thank goodness.
