MADISON – So far the state of Indiana has been good to the Wisconsin football program’s 2026 recruiting class.

Tuesday, the Badgers scored their fourth commitment for the class. Three of those players have come from the Hoosier state.

The latest is Carsen Eloms, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback from Fishers (Ind.) High School near Indianapolis. Eloms' announcement came one day after Carmelow Reed, an outside linebacker from Illinois, announced his commitment to UW.

Eloms' announcement came a couple of day after he visited a Badgers spring practice. Tuesday he posted a video on X that announced his commitment with the caption.

“1000% Committed!!"

Since the end of his junior season, Eloms has announced 10 Division I offers on X. He shared the news of Wisconsin’s offer on Jan. 21.

He also picked up offers from Michigan State, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Missouri plus a handful of programs from the Mid-American Conference.

According to Eloms' junior highlights on Hudl, he made 47 tackles, broke up eight passes and intercepted two throws last season.

He joins Indiana natives Ben Novak, an offensive lineman from Merrillville, and Tayshon Bardo, a receiver from Mishawaka, in the Badgers' 2026 recruiting class.
