Indiana Fever player Lexie Hull announces engagement, Caitlin Clark responds

Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull heads into the 2025 WNBA season with a ring on her finger.

The 25-year-old fourth-year player has announced her engagement to former baseball player Will Matthiessen on social media.

"engaged to my best friend cheers to forever" Hull posted.

Who is Will Matthiessen, Lexie Hull's fiance?​

Matthiessen, 27, played baseball for three years at Stanford (2017-19), where Hull attended from 2018-22. Matthiessen played minor-league baseball from 2019-23, reaching Double-A.

Matthiessen lives in Indianapolis and works at Sapient Capital.
