The Indians and closer Cody Allen reached agreement on a $4.15 million contract for next season to avoid arbitration. Allen had 34 saves in 70 games last season, his fourth with Cleveland. With Allen's contract finalized for 2016, the Indians are trying to reach deals with starter Josh Tomlin, reliever Jeff Manship and right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall, who are all for arbitration.
