What's with the NFL having them play on the road Monday night, then traveling across country for a Sunday game. That sounds like something they'd do to the Cardinals.

Anyway, it's nice to see that Porter just brought Manning down while barely touching him. I don't see Manning alluding nearly as many sacks as Garrard. He does get the ball out very quick, though.

I was thinking about this as well. Manning will not even try to elude sacks. Also something to think about. I don't think Manning could or even wants to think about taking a hit from Adrian Wilson. I say we send him early and often kind of like SD did with Merriman when Manning threw 6 picks on the road. dude hates getting hit.

I don't know. The blitz hasn't really been that effective so far. They send a lot of guys, but they seem to bounce off the offensive line. Perhaps sending Wilson from various spots and dropping others into coverage might work.

I've noticed the same thing. When we sacked Garrard on the blitz last week it was because he stood in the pocket too long and eventually it collapsed on him. Peyton will pick our secondary to SHREDS if we give him that much time to find a receiver while bringing the heat. Davis is going to have a hell of a time trying to figure out how to gameplan against Peyton, I'm curious to see what he has planned.

I still can't believe the Colts won and they had the ball less than 15 minutes the entire game.

This will be a huge test for Bill Davis and our defense. The trick is to completely mix it up. I think you need to show blitz just about every play and drop different guys into coverage.
The one thing about Manning is he is NO threat to run. There are times, and you can call me crazy, that I would rush only 2 guys. I would disquise it to look like I was in a zone blitz package. Obviously , that isn't something I would do but maybe once or twice in the game.

And as somebody mentioned , Dallas Clark is the guy that scares the hell out of me. I think the Cards will play a defend the pass first and run second. Don't know if I agree with that. I just think that's what they'll do.

Playing against the Colts you had better mix it up.

However, the real key to this game will be our offense. We are going to have to go into this game with a mindset of needing 30 pts. to win. We need to do exactly what the Dolphins did last night except we cannot settle for fg's.

The Colts are about to embark on a journey NFL teams have only taken 11 times since 2000, and the percentages suggest when they are done the results won’t be favorable.

Interesting, and I do hope they are do for the split.

They wouldn't have if Ted Ginn Jr. could have held on to that ball. Although if the Fins had scored, the Colts probably would have had another 80 yard TD

If we have the ball for 45 minutes, I feel fairly certain that Matt will be coming in the 4th quarter to mop up.

Didn't we have 4 sacks last week? Our guys up front had a good day in Florida. The Colts will have to game plan for our rotation. Branch looks like he is waking up from his long dream, 90 is special,Robinson holds his own and Watson was playing hard. Our corners better be ready this Sunday. They will be challanged. We need to have Rolle concentrate on his safety position and leave punt returns to Breaston.

It should be a very close game and we are home. The Colts are not what they were a couple of years ago.

Manning will be looking for numbers. So maybe we can switch jersey's on defense???:D I know thats illegal.lol Manning will be looking for Brown,Toler,R.Johnson, sorry but DRC and trying to get mismatches on Hayes and Haggans if they are caught in the game while he's running the no huddle or sugar huddle where they don't huddle up.The SLOW Tight end of Mercedes Lewis killed us last week. Why don't we think the speedy one with hands wearing #44 in Dallas Clark won't eat our lunch and supper? Remember the Skins game last year when thier H back ate our lunch?

I'd like to say that was last years 'D' that could'nt cover the tight end but I've never seen it done well yet.I think we can cover thier speed guy wr.We covered Superman Steve in Carolina last year.I just have my doubts about Clark.Maybe A-Dub and him could have a meeting very early in the game and Clark might want to take a nap for the rest of the night.:D

I see the Colts in a no huddle just to hurt our team that plays as a full team and needs the rotations we use to keep our guys fresh and coming full steam. I'm gonna need my heart pills for sure.:(

Last night was a best case scenario for us.

Colts won so they will likely be a bit more complacent this week. They had their defense out on the field for 80% of the game and in STIFILING humidity. They were gashed by the running game all night. And now they have to travel cross country to play us on a short week.

My friends take the Cardinals and the points in this game. I have been down on our prospects the last two games but I feel like this one is in out favor. Expecially how most of our boys show up when it comes to marquee games (except for THXGIVING last year)

our defense is going to be key!!! The Colts' D looks permeable and we can attack it--This is our key advantage!!

If our defense can hold Manning's O down, Our KW-led O can definitely find holes in their Defense if we give him even a modicum of time, to carve up the Colts' secondary..
