Injured Barcelona midfielder set to train with the group today – report
Dani Olmo suffered yet another injury in his debut season with Barcelona, with the attacking midfielder getting sidelined with an adductor problem soon after the international break.
The 26-year-old has had a stop-start season since returning to the club a decade after leaving La Masia due to injuries.
But as we enter the final phase of the campaign, the Spanish international is now edging closer to his comeback.
Olmo to resume group training
Indeed, according to Jijantes FC, Olmo is all set to do a major part of today’s training session with the rest of the group.

The plan is for him to be eased into action and test himself with the rest of the squad so as to get him ready to play in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund next week.
Reports earlier this week suggested that there may even be a possibility that Olmo could make his comeback in the weekend’s La Liga encounter against Leganes.
And the 26-year-old’s return to group training today will be a step in that direction.
So far this season, Olmo has featured 28 times across all competitions, scoring eight goals and registering five assists.
Having him back and firing heading into the business end of the campaign will be a huge boost for Barcelona as they chase the historic treble under Hansi Flick.
