Inside Hoops wants to buy the Nets

While this is highly unlikely, I found it an interesting news piece:

The whole idea of that size of mass ownership wouldn't work IMO. However, interesting idea none the less.

Aren't the Green Bay Packers owned in a similar fashion as this? I believe I remember hearing something about it and it seems to work out ok for them. I don't see why it wouldn't work for the Nets as long as they had competent people in the front office, and even then, one person can buy a franchise and not put the right people in place and it would fail.

I dont see a problem with them doing this. I dont think they will get it, but if they did, it wouldnt be bad.

I always thought instead of the stadium everyone in the state should pitch in and buy the Cardinals. (only half joking)

I think the Suns are a little bit too expensive for us.

But maybe we could buy the Cardinals for 10$.

I believe the packers are owned by the fans via stock...Not 100% sure, but I am 95% sure.
