Here are our instant observations from day three of New England Patriots’ training camp. Absent: Kenny Britt. Limited/PUP: Matthew Slater, Malcolm Mitchell, Darren Andrews, Jonathan Jones and Cyrus Jones were on the field without pads. They worked on conditioning on the lower field. Notable attendace: Tiquan Underwood, a former Patriots receiver and current receivers coach for Louisiana Lafayette, was back to observe practice. He watched on Friday, too. Marcus Cannon exited practice Friday, but was present on Saturday. Paul Turner, who signed with the team on Friday, was in full pads. Depature: Trey Flowers left the field after bumping into Malcom Brown on a contact play while working on goal-line.
