I still think we should pick up Dan neil for O-Line depth, I heard he has attitude problems though.

i like dan neil also. i think the cardinals should also go after kevin hardy and scott gragg. neil and gragg would solidfy the o-line.

Big no to Hearst. He made enough money here for doing absolutely nothing.

O-line depth seems to head most of our list of need. I doubt we will add anybody else prior to training camp. Injuries during camp and pre-season may have us bringing in a player or two, but I think we basically have the guys we are going to war with.

I bet McKinnon either goes to the Rams or the Titans on a one year, low money contract. If I recall he and Mac had a fantastic relationship.

If we go for line help I love Chris Terry.

But like many I think RB is fast becoming a need. A TE would be nice also.

chad lewis is still avalible. he is a solid te. he has gone to the pro bowl a couple of times. i guess injuries is his problem. hearst doesnt sound like a bad idea. he started his career here and i feel he should end his career here. hearst did have a 1,000 season for the cardinals. his issue are injuries. hearst still has a lot of juice in the tank.

He is an excellent RT, but his off the field problems put up a huge red flag. We don't need negative influence on our young lineman, for example the bitching of Kendall or the possible bitching of my choice for depth Dan Neil.

I would just like to go on record as saying John Clayton is a freeking moron, and always has been. The guy got beat up by football players i'm sure, and now is trying to make himself look smarter than they are, but he's doing it poorly. This statement alone should be enough to sell you all on my opinion:

Testaverde heads a list of big-name quarterbacks still looking for work, including Quincy Carter, Rick Mirer, Shaun King, Jeff George and Kordell Stewart.

be sure to review that list of BIG NAME qb's available. OO! someone quick snatch up kordell... or even RICK FREEKING MIRER. yeah, big names. Clayton, you're a quack.

Regardless, Clayton's top picks are pretty much meaningless, and up for serious debate.

By "big name" he probably means... "easily recognizable"... and I'm sure you did just that... ;)

Yeah, it's real good that Clayton is more concerned about recognizability rather than talent. Really gives proves his credibility, doesn't it?

Can anyone tell me where Mirer played last season, without looking it up? how about Jeff George? (Trick question)

i am sure these qb are on their way out. the only qb i would consider on this list is jeff george. i can't get over his strong arm.

Jeff is a bum. hell, the guy hasn't even played in what... 2? 3? 4 years?

don't forget about jeff crying that he didn't get starts at Purdue as a freshman when he was behind then senior, future pro-bowler jim everett...

sorry, i'm a Boilermaker, so Jeff George is a touchy subject. His arm may be strong, but his mind is a wasteland.
