On this eve of the draft this question is simple if you have a young Qb that you just drafted last year that really has done nothing except work his but off and did everything you have ask of him do you get rid of him, for a prospect that has Done nothing to show you he even cares ie. Doesnt participate in the Combine drills, doesn't really do much at his pro day, doesnt do much much in private workouts misses a scheduled charity event would you invest the Number 1 overall pick of the draft in that QB that also can bail out for baseball at any time Yes the hard worker is Rosen and the supposed slacker is Murray Sorry for the long post and punctuation before hand

This is a tough business my friend. Talent on the field always wins.

Actually I dont care it's just that its a damn tough decision one that could've been made easier if 2 things would have happened 1. Murray would have done what 99.9% of the other players did, and participated in the offseasons activities and 2. If Rosen hadn't participated in the team activities or would have been better when he played last year (was) put in a No win situation to begin with

Or if Rosen had performed more like a top 10 QB. He wasn't put into a no win situation. He just proved he likely isn't transcendant.

Since it seems so important to declare our draft position I want Q...or anyone other than Bosa.

Depends on talent. If the front office believes Murray is the next Russell Wilson or better and Rosen can't perform to that level...then you make the move. Love Rosen's professionalism but that doesn't win games.

Basically Rosen tape last year was not good- was the worse qb in the nfl for most the season - even with all the positives mentioned - for many reasons - most are fired and gone -

Murry looks good except he could be broken into pieces in camp, first game - at any time Bosa or Williams cAn break him if the can catch him,
CHandler Jones could probably throw murry 35 yards!

That’s why I don’t take that risk at number 1
