MJ brought this up this morning. Historically Warner has only had 1 game per season where he turns the ball over 4 or more times.

Based on that, hopefully he got it out of his system for this year!

Didn't he have 2 games last year with 4+ turnovers?

Yup. 49ers game at home, Seahawks game on the road.

Yeah they mentioned that stat on radio yesterday and I immediately laughed since I'd looked it up last week and the first year I checked, 2007, he had 2 of them.

Historically Kurt gets benched after a couple of bad games like that. Obvious Whiz knew his finger was bothering him and assumed it would not be as big of a problem this week.

That many turnovers twice in a season is probably pretty rare for that precise reason, very few guys(favre comes to mind) have the kind of job security to withstand several such stinkers.

IN 06 he only started 5 games, he had one 3 pick on lost fumble game(loss to the Rams) and he had another game against Seattle with one pick and 4 fumbles(none of the 4 were lost). His first week was 3 fumbles one lost, second week 4 none lost, then 1 lost, then 2 fumbles one lost and he got benched right after that. It was pretty clear then he was in a pattern and some of the fumbles were flat out dropping the ball.

If he continues to protect the ball and the finger heals and he can avoid that we should be in great shape but I'm sure Whiz is aware of his past issues and is monitoring him.

It's quite simple if we don't turn it over our offense is pretty special right now.

I think Buffalo did Arizona a real favor by trying to duplicate what the Jets had done by not bringing a ton of pressure. Arizona made sure they weren't going to get beat the same way as last week and Buffalo never seemed to adjust. By the time they figured out the umbrella wasn't going to work, the Cardinals offense was in a nice rhythm and did a really nice job of running and passing at the right times keeping Buffalo guessing.

I also think that Buffalo just doesn't play at 100% for Losman. I don't think Edwards would have changed the outcome of the game but as impressive as Losman's stat's were the Buffalo offense just didn't seem to have any heart for most of the day.
