A real life story of the fake (?) German heiress who was released from prison about a year ago after her incredible financial ruse played on many of New York City's major players. I missed this whole thing in the news somehow, so this has been an enjoyable watch trying to figure out which parts of this portrayal are real and which parts are fictional. The later episodes where things start to go south for Anna are pretty riveting. This portrayal got me caught up in her scheming at first, but then hoping for her downfall.
