With Iowa baseball (7-7, 2-1 Big Ten) entering its second Big Ten series this weekend from Duane Banks Field vs. Michigan State (12-4, 0-0), the Hawkeyes and Spartans have made a scheduling change related to the series.
In an update to the scheduled series, the Hawkeyes and Spartans will now play a doubleheader on Friday, with Game 1 starting at Noon CT. The team did not specify a time for the latter half of the doubleheader, but that information most likely depends on the length of the previously mentioned Game 1.
In correspondence with the rescheduling of the first two games, the third and final game of the series has been moved from Sunday to Saturday, with a new start time of 1 p.m. CT.
While Michigan State has an impressive record thus far, the Spartans have dropped their last two games entering the series. Meanwhile, Iowa has seen its offense erupt in its three-game winning streak, outscoring opponents 44-7.
All three games of the series will continue to be broadcast on Big Ten Plus (Subscription Required) and through the Hawkeyes Radio Network.
