Iowa State defensive lineman Mitchell Meyers has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, coach Paul Rhoads said Thursday. Meyers will begin treatment that includes chemotherapy on Friday. Team physician Dr. Marc Shulman said the cure rate for Hodgkin's lymphoma is 90 percent. He added that because Meyers is in excellent overall shape, it may help his prognosis.
