The Iowa State women's basketball team's NCAA Tournament fate will be revealed Sunday night.

The Cyclones (22-11, 12-6 Big 12) made their final case to the selection committee last week during the Big 12 Tournament. Down in Kansas City, Iowa State took down Arizona State in the second round but fell to Baylor in the quarterfinals. We'll find out in a few hours if that was enough for the Cyclones to earn a spot in the Big Dance.

The team's postseason future seems to be up in the air, with prognosticators continually putting the Cyclones on the NCAA Tournament bubble. That means they may have to sweat out Selection Sunday.

As things stand, as of the night ahead of Selection Sunday, the Cyclones are projected to be an 11 seed and one of the 'last four in' squads of this year's tournament, according to ESPN's Charlie Creme. That would put them in the 'first four' play-in games against Ivy League runners-up Columbia.

ESPN projects that if they win that game, they'll move on to Lexington, Kentucky, to take on West Virginia in the first round.
