Irish coach Weis injures leg on sideline (AP)

Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis injured his left leg during the Michigan game when an Irish player was blocked into him during a punt return late in the second quarter. Irish defensive end John Ryan, who is 6-5, 264 pounds, hit Weis in the leg. Weis, who was looking the other direction, never saw the hit coming and was knocked to the ground.
